Sodium hydrosulfide is used in the dye industry to synthesize organic intermediates and as an auxiliary for the preparation of sulfide dyes, in the leather industry to unhair and tanning hides, in the fertilizer industry to remove the monomer sulfur in the activated carbon desulfurizer, in the mining industry to use a large number of copper ore dressing, in the production of man-made fibers to use sulfite dyeing, and also in wastewater treatment. The production process of sodium hydrosulfide is relatively mature. At present, the preparation method of sodium hydrosulfide is caustic soda absorption method, which requires the raw gas to be relatively pure hydrogen sulfide gas

The production of sodium hydrosulfide by caustic soda method requires that the feed gas does not contain carbon dioxide, which will affect the quality of sodium hydrosulfide and the use of users. If the carbon dioxide content is more than 10%, the equipment and pipelines will also be blocked during production, making the production impossible.

Sodium hydrosulfide

Chemical property: colorless acicular crystal, easy to deliquescence. Industrial products are generally solutions, orange or yellow. It is easily soluble in water and alcohol, and the aqueous solution is strongly alkaline. It is used as an intermediate for organic synthesis, an auxiliary for manufacturing sulfide dyes, unhairing and tanning of raw hides, and an auxiliary for synthesizing organic intermediates and preparing sulfide dyes in the dye industry for copper ore dressing.

Tanning industry is used for unhairing and tanning of raw hides, and also for wastewater treatment. The chemical fertilizer industry is used to remove the monomer sulfur from the activated carbon desulfurizer. It is the raw material for manufacturing semi products of ammonium sulfide and pesticide ethanethiol. The mining industry is largely used for copper ore dressing. It is used for sulfite dyeing in the production of man-made fibers. Uses: Used as an intermediate of various organic products and an auxiliary agent of sulfur dyes, as well as for leather unhairing and desulfurization of viscose silk.
